This unit has an infrared proximity sensor with a 30 second timeout feature and an adjustable sensor range of 1"-8". Because a sensor activates water flow, it has several advantages over a traditional handle-style faucet. It is hands-free, which reduces the opportunity for germs to spread, and it also prevents the faucet from running when it's not needed, which helps to cut down on your water bill.
This faucet comes with a gooseneck spout, and it has a 2.2 GPM flow rate to provide a soft water flow with minimal splashing for hand washing. A heavy brass body provides excellent durability, while a chrome-plated finish provides an attractive accent.
The base comes with mounting studs set on 4" centers, and it requires 2 mounting holes for installation. The faucet connects to the control module with a 30" flexible supply line and an elbow.
The UL certified AC adapter with a level VI efficiency rating provides power for the faucet's control module, which installs below the countertop. Or, use (4) AA batteries for cordless operation during power outages.
The mixing valve easily adjusts the output temperature to the desired level. This prevents burned hands, while still ensuring that water is warm enough for effective handwashing. A pair of 18" flexible stainless steel connectors with 1/2" NPSM female x 3/8" female compression fittings connect the mixing valve to your building's water lines.
